GOPA Group Service GmbH is the internal service provider of GOPA Consulting Group. With our services in accounting, IT, market information, communi­cation, Human Resources, and general admini­stration we make an important contribution to the success of GOPA Consulting Group’s operational companies. Our IT Services team ensures the relia­bility and security of the whole IT infra­structure for 650 work stations and more than 1,000 users worldwide.

IT Systems Administrator (m/f)

Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the availability, security and performance of our IT infra­structure at 9 different locations in Europe, North Africa, and Asia and our more than 1,000 users worldwide. You will install, configure, and maintain server, networks and applications in a modern IT environment. You will prepare and administer systems documentations and will participate in IT projects. Furthermore, you will assist the users in case of problems through our user helpdesk. Travelling to our different locations in Germany and abroad as well as the willingness to support short-term projects abroad will also be part of your new job.

Your tasks in brief

  • Administration of our MS Windows client and server environment 
  • Administration of our LAN and WAN infrastructure
  • Preparation of operation documentations and crisis scenarios
  • Analysis and dispatch of problems and errors reported to the user helpdesk
  • Participation in standby (on call) service

Your qualification

  • University degree in technical studies, qualified IT specialist (successful completed vocational training), or comparable knowledge in IT infrastructure
  • First professional experience in a comparable position, especially with the administration of Microsoft client-server-networks
  • Sound IT knowledge and understanding in general
  • Very good German and English language skills, very good communication skills
  • Service- and solution-oriented thinking, good organizational skills and well-structured way of working
  • Additional certificates, Microsoft MCITP / MCSA / MCSE for 2008 / 2012, or Cisco CCNA are considered as an asset
